ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT 

 

Pelistry Cottage is set on two floors.

​

• All bedrooms are on the first floor which is at the top of a flight of shallow stairs -11 in total with a rise of 7"

• Room 4 has a step into it with a rise of 8.5".  It also has a step up into the shower of approx 7"

• Room 3 has a bath which is 22" high.  You need to be able to step into this to use the shower which is within the bath

• There are banisters on either side of the stairs

• The dining room is on the ground floor

• There is a small front door step

• A list of local taxis is available

• Assistance with luggage is offered

• All rooms have remote control TV

• All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities

• Rooms 1, 3 & 4 have small fridges, there is also a fridge for guest use in the dining room.

• All rooms have raised wall sockets as well as at skirting level

• A variety of dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notification

• A designated guest fridge is available for medications/insulin/special foods etc

• Fire alarm is audible only

• Emergency information can be communicated verbally on request

• Copy of bus timetable is available​

• Island Transfers will bring you directly to the cottage from the airport.

• We are a 5 minute walk from the quay where regular boats travel to the off islands

• Wifi is available

• Mobile phone coverage is limited.
