Travelling to Scilly 

 Scilly can be reached from the English mainland by fixed-wing aircraft or ship.  Isles of Scilly Travel  handles the ferry and the fixed wing planes.

Air services fly directly to St Mary's airport with dedicated buses dropping off in Hugh Town close to the guest house.  Flights on fixed-wing aircraft can be booked from Exeter, Newquay  and Land's End.

The Scillonian ferry departs Penzance quay at 9.15. (Please check the times yourself.) It sails directly to St Marys and takes just over two-and-a-half hours.  When arriving on the Scillonian  your bags  will be delivered right to the door for a nominal fee providing they have been  placed in the luggage container as you board the ship and they are labelled, with our Pelistry Cottage address.

Head for Penzance using the M5 or A38, then the A30. The heliport and quay are clearly signposted and have ample parking.

Penzance is also the nearest station. If travelling by rail we suggest you make your flight reservations to synchronise with train arrival times.
